Lou spent five years in Boone studying studio art with a focus in oil painting. They first got into doing nails in high school, then found their way back to nail art in 2025. It gave them a completely different canvas for the skills they’d spent years developing and a way to turn the art they love making into something you get to wear.

They love working with color, composition, and tiny details, but creative nails don't have to mean long nails or an elaborate set. Lou likes finding ways to make art work at every length and believes fun nails belong to everyone, regardless of gender.

They’re also the person who actually wants you to ask questions about your nails. Lou likes teaching clients about nail care, explaining what they’re doing and why, and making sure the natural nail underneath everything stays healthy along the way.
