What To Expect
Here's a closer look at how appointments work at HairCraft.
The Energy
Looking this good can’t be rushed, so we built the space accordingly. There’s time to settle in, get comfortable, and let a few hours disappear without spending them wondering how many are left.
The music is on, you’ve got something good to drink, and somebody’s usually telling a story loud enough for three other people to accidentally become part of it. You look up at some point and realize an hour disappeared somewhere between the first “wait, WHAT?” and everyone trying to remember why the conversation started in the first place.
The playlist in’t censored and, frankly, neither are we. You don’t need to lower your voice, make polite small talk, or edit yourself into whatever version of you seems most appropriate for public comsumption. Talk, listen, laugh too loud, completely derail the conversation, or just sit back and enjoy the show.

The Consultation
Your consultation starts before you get here. We’ve already reviewed the consultation form you filled out before your appointment and looked through any photos you sent, so when you sit down, we’re not starting from scratch. We already have a pretty good idea of what brought you in and where you’re hoping to go.
From there, we’ll guide the conversation. We’ll look at your inspiration together, talk about what you’re drawn to, take a closer look at what we’re starting with, and fill in the details that are harder to capture on a form. You don’t need to know the right terminology or remember everything we might need to know. That’s what the consultation is for.
You’ll probably learn some things along the way too. We’ll tell you what we’re seeing, explain the options that make sense, and give you the information you need to make the best choice for you. By the time we’re ready to start, we both know what we’re doing, how long we expect it to take, what it will cost, and what you should expect when you leave.
And if something comes up during the appointment that changes the plan, we stop and talk about it before the plan changes. You’ll never get to the end and discover that something was added, skipped, or changed without you knowing about it first.
The Service
Once we have a plan, you get to stop thinking quite so hard about it. We’ll keep track of what comes next, let you know when we’re changing gears, and keep you updated on timing as the appointment moves along. You can ask questions whenever you have them, but you don’t need to spend the next few hours wondering what’s happening or whether you’re supposed to know.
There’s no prize for getting you out of the chair fifteen minutes early. Your appointment has the time it has for a reason, and we’d rather use it well than spend the whole thing racing the clock. Some steps need patience. Some need precision. Some give you a minute to drink your coffee and find out how the conversation across the room somehow got onto conspiracy theories.
That’s really the rhythm of it. You settle in, we keep things moving, and the appointment unfolds without making you feel like you need to keep track of it. Before you know it, we’re talking about the finishing touches and you’re wondering where the time went.

The Details
The appointment you booked is only part of what we’ve been working on. There’s a whole menu of creative custom drinks, little rituals tucked into every service, chargers when your phone inevitably starts dying, rewards for coming back, and a digital Backstage Pass full of fun, weird, useful, and occasionally unnecessary things to explore while you’re here. If there was a way to make an appointment more fun, more comfortable, or more worth looking forward to, we probably got a little carried away with it.
The appointment could happen without any of it. That’s kind of the point. We keep adding the things that aren’t strictly necessary because “good enough” has never been a particularly interesting place to stop. The service should be great. Everything around it should make you glad you came.
You came for the thing you booked. You get all the little things too.
Join Us
Book an appointment, come to an event, download the app for first dibs when something new gets announced, or just wander in curious and see what happens from there.
A lot of people start as clients and end up knowing everyone by name, showing up to pop-ups on their day off, or planning their next appointment before they’ve even made it to the parking lot.
There are a lot of ways to be part of HairCraft, and most of them happen pretty naturally once you’re here.
